Whitefurze Wins Queens Award for Enterprise for International Trade

Another significant milestone in the ongoing development of Whitefurze with the announcement that we have won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise-International Trade for 2022. One of only 141 U.K. businesses to have been selected for the International Trade award we are recognised as having shown dramatic and sustainable export growth through a clear and long term commitment to an export strategy supported by considerable financial investment.

Our export journey started in 2016 with the appointment of an office based Export Sales Coordinator and investment in showcasing the company to new potential overseas markets at the major relevant Industry exhibitions. The first couple of years generated sufficient interest for us to further drive growth with the appointment of a Head of International Sales in 2018 the team was further strengthened in 2020 with the addition of an Area Account Manager for Ireland.

New customers were attracted and orders were placed. More importantly they were impressed by our quality and service as a result of which repeat orders followed.

Today our Export business is worth over £1.5million and represents 8% of our total sales - an achievement of which we are all very proud especially considering the unique challenges that we have faced since Brexit and the start of the pandemic.

Whitefurze products can now be found in countries worldwide including Europe, Canada, USA, South America, South Africa , Scandinavia and Asia.
